Musicianship is for the beginner, intermediate, and advanced musicians: a helpful companion to your ensemble rehearsals.  Having an understanding of what's on the page helps musicians read better and more fully understand their music.  For the ensemble musician, it helps to better understand how their part fits in the ensemble and encourages them to listen with more purpose.  With three awesome instructors, you will be able to improve your skills and understanding whether you are a Greenie or Golden pro!  

 

Musicianship students will work through music theory (notation, key signatures and scales, rhythm, terminology) and ear-training based on their level of experience.  Enrollment will dictate levels of instruction and content.

 

Members will be required to purchase the Mark Sarnecki: Elementary Music Rudiments (2nd Edition) theory work book. 

 

Mondays from 7:00-7:50 PM at Central Memorial High School. $100

 

Semester 2: January 16 - March 20 (10 weeks)
